Jarvis Glasses is my alias, a nod to both 90's pop culture and the large spectacles that sit on my nose.
My style is inhabited by small characters that wander in a naïve and colourful universe, often reluctant heroes of absurd situations. A joyful, poetic mess influenced by the quirky zany works of, amongst others, Keita Takahashi's video games, Shoboshobo's bestiary, or Le Aids' pop music.
I like to experiment playfully with my creations onto all manner of formats and mediums. My work can be in the form of series painted on found objects, such as botanical and general science publications or educational manuals, photographic archives, but also posters, album covers, textile or housing objects.
